11-12-13 august

On the eleventh, we went to Huesca's festival: Everyone had to dress in white, and had a green handkerchief around their neck. There was a lot of people in the streets, so we decided to go to a park to play some games before joining a concert were everyone danced and try to sing Spanish lyrics without being spotted. But it obviously didn't work :p. We had to go back at 1 a.m. so we arrived late at the camp, this was a good enough reason not to do sports in the morning ! But still we had to work as usual, then the monitors brought us to a very nice place with a 9 meters waterfall and a river. We ate some sandwiches while other were in a hurry to jump from the waterfall. While doing so, Christian unluckily slipped and fell on his shoulder. He had to be taken to the nearest hospital, but in the evening we got a picture of him in the hospital, holding his thumb up: He was lucky even though he has a broken bone. Before dinner, we played a Czech game "routoutoutou..." which consists in catching as many adversary as possible with only one breath. After the dinner we wanted to see the shooting stars, because it was "the best day to see them" according to our monitors. Eventually, all we managed to see were the lightnings of a thunderstorm, again... Today, Cansu left us in the morning to spend some time in Madrid. So our group is already getting smaller :(

10-11 August

Our daily sport yesterday started with a typical game from the area of La Cartuja: Dodgeball. Two teams trying to hit the opponent by throwing soft balls. It was a lot of fun, many inhabitants of the village watched us :D
The evening continued with typical games from every one's country. Jana taught us how to play Daumendrücken with was basically about guessing who put your thumb down when your eyes are closed. But the craziest one was no doubt Kana's one, "Kamikaze" a game coming from Japan. We had to be in groups of four, three were horses and one was the Kamikaze: the Kamikaze had to sit on top of the horses and then each group had to fight until only one survived... It was totally weird but fun :D
Today we started to put the signs in the holes we had previously dug, while others started to paint the fence of the football field.
When we have finished our work for you out there today, we'll go to Huesca, a city close to our place. We'll spend a long evening there, but don't know yet what's expecting us there (So we'll tell you tomorrow ;))

Jana, Marie

8-9 August

8 August

Today we reached our limit, the physical one of course!
It all started as a lazy afternoon with nothing to do, when we finished our job at the blog we thought it was all over, but in fact it wasnt. Even before we had left the city hall, where we upload the blog from, we were already being told about a compulsory activity by one of the organizers (sad face).  Well sometimes sacrifices must be made, thats what we thought. We happily went to the soccer fields. And well, it wasnt so bad after all! In fact we had one of the most amazing times so far. The ultimate frisby game was awesome, some people were like tryharders while others felt like it was the perfect opportunity to get closer to some other people (if you know what i mean... ;) ). The rain helped us not sweeting so much.

Hoy hemos llegado a nuestro límite físico!

9 August

We are celebrating a very special day for a person this day, its Cansu's Bday! We tried to make her happy so in order to do that we started with a chocolate happy smiled magdalena with a candle on it.
She seemed to enjoy it, but it was only the beggining! This day was totally active! We made 30 km in a circle route all around La Cartuja, one of the monitors almost crashed into a corn field, it was fun,
Some time later, we expected to have our lunch in the camp, however we took it on the lake instead!
We didnt know anything about this but the monitors prepared Kayaks for us. You can see the pictures below ;).

7-8 august

Yesterday afternoon, after working, we (the ones who wanted) went cycling for around 20 kilometres. Even if it was very hot, we all appreciated the desertic look off the landscape. It was a lot of fun because the route was going up and down ! Later in the evening, after dinner most of us played a game where one person had to hide in the village, and the other had to find her has quick as possible to hide with her until every one succeeded. It was a lot of fun ! Today we started with our usual half an hour of sport (yoga or running), then we continued the work on the signalization. For lunch, we had a paella and it was the opportunity for Spanish to share their culinary culture with the others.

Marie

6-7 August

After having left our page yesterday, at around 6pm we started a sport game, with a lot of running (which was hard because of the heat :D ). At around 10pm we met in the saloon to have a nice party. At some point people from the village joined us and we had fun together.
Still we had to get up this morning for breakfast at 8am (No sport before, would have been too much). We continued our work from yesterday, afterwards we went to the swimming pool, which is really getting a habit.

5-6 August

Hey you out there! We didn't forget you yesterday, but we were busy hiking in the Pyrenees. At 6:30 we (very tired) began our day with a nice breakfast, at around 11am we (still a bit tired) started walking from "Valle de Bujaruelo" up the first path in order to arrive at a river. Some stayed there while others went on and coninued half walking, half climbing up the hill. Through bushes, trees, and yellow flowers we finally reached a place having a nice view on the huge mountains. After a short pause, we went back to the river and had a really relaxing lunch with feet on the water, and sandwiches which tasted great at this wonderful place. Finally, we made our way back to the car, and drove to a nice village to see the "waterfall of Sorrosal" and either seet in a bar or have a walk in around the town. Then we went to the camp and had free time for the whole evening because we were tired, even if some found enough energy to go running.
Today started with our usual 30 minutes of sport, but this time instead of pilates there was yoga. After having our breakfast, we were divided in two groups, one stayed and making the signs, while 8 of us went by car to the road and start diging the holes to put the signs in it later.
P.S.: As you may already have seen, we have a gallery now ;)

3-4 August

While we were working on our blog yesterday, we already saw the sky changing from blue to grey. So we could spend a part of our evening sitting outside, watching the lightnings of a thunderstorm without it already having reached us. Rain started around midnight, but luckily all our tents stayed dry ;)
Today started again for some with running, for others with Pilates.
Afterwards, like yesterday, our group was divided, the people who went cycling yesterday stayed in the city and started to write on wooden signs. The others went cycling. Due to the storm last evening, there was a LOT of mud. Some fell in, got stuck or full of splashed mud. (There are pictures, you'll get to see them as soon as we manage uploading ;) Still we really enjoyed our route: The landscape with all the hills, wide lonely areas and colors was magnificent. Even if we couldn't finish the route today (lack of time) we got a good impression on which environment we're developing our activity on. Tired but happy we got back to the camp three and a half hours later. We directly joined the others on the swimming pool, some to sleep, some to swim.
Tomorrow we'll go hiking, so send us good weather please :D

Bye!

Jana.

Tschuss!
Jana
